Mission

Our mission is to uplift and empower widows, orphans and the fatherless in Nigeria, by
providing them with education, healthcare and spiritual upliftment in their distress

Our mission is born out of the personal experience of our founder who herself became
a widow at a very young age when her husband died is a plane crash and was left
alone to care for their children. It was then that she experienced and observed first-
hand the inherent cultural practices that oppress, intimidate and deprive widows and
their children their rights, privileges and opportunities they need to care for
themselves.

The inspiration for founding Calidan Missions is found in the Word of God:
Jas 1:27  Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the
fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world

 

Vision 

To be a refuge for widows, orphans and the fatherless where they can find relief and care
in their hour of need, and to empower them to face the future with new skills and hope.
